Scope
'Excavation reports, survey reports, field notes, plans and other papers regarding expeditions to Tocra, primarily referring to those which took place between 1966 and 1969. Two notebooks containing manuscript notes on Tocra and Cyrenaica (D1/2/2/8 and D1/2/2/9) date from 1951 which may indicate that they were not created by Smith. The series also contains information regarding the financing of the expeditions.'
