Scope

'The black and white photograph shows the five workers involved in the Tocra excavation, in military dress, clearing the entrance to Tomb B. The man in the foreground of the photograph is smoking a cigarette and leaning on a shovel. In the centre of the image, three men are shovelling dirt and sand to clear the entrance to Tomb B. There is a collection of bones and pottery laid out on a stone slab in the background.'
