Scope

'Contact sheets and negatives pertaining to the UNESCO Libyan Valleys Survey, 1984 and the Libyan National Museum Project. The file features the original negative film and a corresponding sheet of printed negatives for the following serial numbers B4, B8, B16, B17, B19, B23, B29, B47 and B55. Notes accompanying the contact sheets states that the photographs were started by B.J. Kite.', The photographs labelled B4, B8, B16, B17, B19, B23, B29, B47 and B55 were tied together and were accompanied by a manuscript label which states that the negatives belong to the Libyan National Museum Project, 1983. It is not clear who if the author was one of the creators of the collection or if it was inserted after the material was deposited to the Society for Libyan Studies. The accuracy of this label and the correlation between the two projects is not specifically stated.'
