Scope
'Correspondence relating to donations and deposits to the Society for Libyan Studies archive. The file includes correspondence between Michael Balance and David Mattingly regarding photographs taken in Libya during 1948 - 1950 (19 March - 6 April 1999, 4 pages), letter from Professor Barry W. Cunliffe to David Mattingly concerning storage space for archival material (27 April 1999, 1 page), letter from Ali Emhemed al-Khaddouri, President of the Department of Antiquities in Libya, to David Mattingly expressing condolence over the death of Barri Jones (24 July 1999, 1 page) and two letters from James Copland Thorn to John [Dore regarding Cyrenaica material (18 September 2004, 2 pages and 1 photograph).'
