Scope

'Correspondence and accompanying documents pertaining to the Joint ServicesWest East African Expedition in 1974 from Mauritia to the Sudan for geophysical and geological studies.', File includes minutes of meetings of the British National Committee for Geodyamics; circulars from the Squadron Leader Tom H. Sheppard, Royal Air Force, of the Joint Services West East Sahara Expedition, concerning information for "members of the group from which the team and reserves will be drawn" and some additional manuscript notes. There are also letters present from Tom H. Sheppard addressed directly to Daniels concerning dates and plans for the expedition.'
