'Notebooks created by Daniels to correspond with photographs taken during expeditions to Africa; includes Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. They provide a guide to expedition photograph prints and their corresponding negatives, including indices, descriptive captions and field notes.', The notebook may contain photographs which do not feature in the Photograph series, particularly the images which have been glued into the notebooks for "Libya Expedition, 1959" and the "Durham University Libya Expedition, 1959".'
