Scope

'Series of volumes containing black and white photographs and accompanying manuscript notes from a 1959 expedition to Libya, funded by Durham University. Most of the photographs within the notebooks were taken by Daniels throughout the expedition, beginning with their departure from Newhaven Harbour and ending in Sebha, "where the film ran out".', Photographs in the second half of Volume Two have been titled "other people\'s photos", it is not specified who is responsible for taking these photographs.'
