Scope

'Manuscript and typed notes, drawings, photographs and secondary material pertaining to individual Libyan sites. The files primarily relate to the expeditions of the 1960s and 1970s and records are present concerning excavations, finds, cemetaries, site locations and survey notes.', There are also a small number of files which relate to multiple sites within Libya.', u"A majority of the material dates from the 1960s and 1970s; however, there are some notes present from the late 1990s and early 2000s. This material pertains to the work carried out on the Daniels' Collection by the Fazzan Project, spearheaded by David Mattingly."
