Calm Format - Document

Scope

'Includes handwritten and typed notes, 14 notebooks and printed pages. Subdivided into "Publications" and "General". The criteria employed to divide the material was: anything in typed or printed form was allocated to the first category, along with three of the notebooks and any handwritten notes which were clearly connected with a publication (almost exclusively the book "Ghirza: A Libyan Settlement in the Roman Period" (1984) written jointly by Brogan and David J Smith). The second category contains handwritten research/field notes and the remaining notebooks. It should be noted that the arrangement was not an exact science, and there is arguably crossover between the two categories.'

Notes - Catalogued, Access by appointment. Letter of introduction required.
