Scope
Outcropping rock on summit of inselberg at SW tip. Four adjacent carved surfaces with multiple images and surface working. MAK018B1 carvings on upper surface.
Arrangement
Oryx, gazelle, bovid, quadruped, indeterminate, grooves, incised lines: In centre of panel is finely incised outline of an oryx facing left with cervico-thoracic hump, long backward curving horns, ears and feathered tail. Peck marks on head and body. Two long incised lines superimposed over neck. Numerous fine incised lines around the image, some forming indeterminate shapes. Above is finely incised outline of an inverted gazelle facing right with long thin neck and long backward waving horns, with fine incised lines extending from head suggesting upward pointing horns. Some of lines used to form outline of a quadruped facing right with cervico-thoracic hump and possible eye and backward pointing horns. On left edge of panel is incised schematic bovid facing left with long upward curving horns. Image is superimposed over a number of U-shaped grooves. Figure 6.16f Gara sommet in Pauphillet (1953)
