Scope

Boulder on lower slope of rocky outcrop. Carvings on near vertical surface.

Arrangement

Five humans (riders), four horses, camel, inscriptions, grooves. On left of panel is incised outline of a horse in motion facing right with triangular upper legs and pointed ears. Incised outline of rider with circular head, rectangular body, arms outstretched, one with sword-like weapon, one with object comprising two vertical parallel lines. Below is incised outline of a horse facing right with triangles connecting upper legs, merged head and neck, pecking on body. Incised outline of rider with circular head, triangular body, outstretched arms bent and raised, feet below belly of horse. Below is crudely pecked outline of a horse facing right with thin elongated body. Pecked outline of rider with linear head, arms outstretched, one with deep gouged circle (shield?), one holding very long linear object (lance?) which cuts through incised Libyan inscriptions running vertically. In centre of panel is arrangement of U- and V-shaped grooves. To the right is incised outline of a horse in motion facing right with triangular upper legs, feet, upright ears. Incised outline of rider with circular head, rectangular body, legs on body of horse, arms outstretched, one with spear, the other with two symbolic objects one of which is trident-shaped. Incised Libyan inscriptions left and below. Below is incised outline of a camel facing right with triangular hump and long neck. Incised outline of rider behind neck with circular head, rectangular body, arms outstretched and bent down holding reins and linear objects.
