Scope

Outcropping rock forming part of lower cliff of promontory terminus. FJJ107-119 cluster around this panel. FJJ111A carvings on vertical surface. This group especially FJJ111-112 are highly visible from the wadi (hence the graffiti).

Arrangement

Four giraffes, graffiti: Pecked outlines of four large giraffe facing left in a line, similar in style and decoration. Left hand giraffe has long thin legs, two short upward ears or horns, fine reticulation on hide. Giraffe to the right has hooves, upward pointing horns and ears depicted, reticulated hide. Giraffe to the right of this has indistinct feet, upward pointing horns and ears, reticulated hide. Forth giraffe to the right has upward pointing horns and ears, reticulated hide, and long thin legs ending in curved hooves. A foreleg and a hind leg appear to be connected or hobbled with pecked line, and line of fissure. Outlines have been scratched and repecked recently. Large, white painted letters in Asiatic script across the carvings and onto adjacent panel have partially obscured carvings. Dribbles of paint on lower section of panel.
