Scope

Outcropping rock forming part of lower cliff of promontory terminus adjacent to FJJ120B. Carvings on vertical surface covering whole panel.

Arrangement

Six humans, two bulls, three cows, two giraffe, buffalo, antelope (Waterbuck?), feline/monkey, four bovids, indeterminate, incised lines, pecking, graffiti: A collection of animals and humans facing right, forming a possible group or narrative. Panel split vertically by fissure about one third the way along. To the left of the fissure, on the far left of the panel is the pecked outline of a quadruped facing right in motion, with long upward curved tail and small head, probably a feline or monkey. Below to the left is pecked outline of stylised human with outstretched arms, one arm touching the hind leg of the feline. To the right is pecked bull facing right with upward curving horns, body area totally pecked, linear object extending below jaw. To the right is pecked and smoothed outline of a cow facing right with narrow upward curving horns, vertical line across shoulder, added hump and pecking on shoulder. Below left is pecked outline of a giraffe facing right with long thin neck, two small outward pointing horns or ears, U-shaped belly, mane, raised tail. Right is pecked and incised outline of cow or bull facing right with indistinct horns possibly pointing forward, smoothed band around middle, small hooves, two tassels dangling below neck, pecking on head and body. Above are two pecked and incised human figures facing forward with arms and legs outstretched, upper figure has possible horned head/headdress. To the right are pecked lines forming indeterminate shapes. Above is pecked and smoothed outline of cow facing right with short upward curving horns, some pecking on head and body. Below is faintly pecked outline of bovid facing right with possible upward pointing horns. To the right is pecked outline of giraffe in motion facing right with long thin neck, short upward horns or ears, long phallus, pecking on hide, incised lines for mane. Fissure runs through hind quarters of giraffe. To the right and beneath the neck of the giraffe is a smoothed human figure facing left towards the giraffe with knees bent and arms outstretched, with possible bow in hand on left. To the right of the fissure, above neck of giraffe, is pecked outline of cow facing right with large forward curving horn, wide saddle band across belly. Above is pecked and incised human figure facing forward with outstretched arms and triangular skirt. Right is pecked outline of bovid facing right with vertical line across shoulder, outline repecked. Below is smoothed outline of antelope in motion facing right with long forward curving horn, two eyes, bands on hide, possibly a Waterbuck. Pecking below, and to right is pecked outline of possible buffalo facing right with large outward and upward curving horns, two eyes. Above is pecked outline of human figure facing forward with arms and legs outstretched, male genitals, incised X symbol to left. Pecked and smoothed lines to right are remnants of possible quadruped, now partially exfoliated. Below right is pecked outline of bovid facing right, head exfoliated, bands on hide. Below left is pecked outline of bovid facing right with straight upward pointing horns, lines on body possibly part of underlying images.
