Scope

Large boulder in cluster at base of small promontory terminus at mouth of tributary and confluence of watercourses, adjacent to TEK157 and 158. At least two circular stone footings around base of boulder from temporary encampments. TEK155A carvings on sloping, rounded surface.

Arrangement

Oryx, two quadrupeds, ambiguous animal, abstract, pecking: Rounded panel with series of pecked and incised images in different styles. In centre of panel is incised outline of possible ambiguous animal facing right, with rounded protuberances on head, pecking on front of body, hind legs incomplete, raised tail with pecking possibly added later. Below is incised outline of quadruped facing right with short upward pointing horns, ear, lines on body. phallus, line from nose, and pecking possibly added later. Several incised and pecked shapes around these images including zigzags, V-shapes, circles, and areas of pecking. Above is incised outline of quadruped facing right with long legs. Back and head indistinct. At top of panel is incised outline of antelope (oryx?) facing right with long neck and pecked long backward curving horns, possibly added later. Figure 9.17b
