Scope

Fragmented outcropping bedrock at ground level on lower slope of major promontory terminus. Carvings on sloping upper surfaces of seven contiguous fragments in a semicircle, all part of the same panel.

Arrangement

Two camels, inscriptions, abstract: Two incised camels facing left with square humps. Upper camel has circular feet and feathered symbol below belly, possibly phallus. Lower, smaller camel has two protuberances below neck. Front feet and rear legs are truncated by exfoliation of panel surface. Incised X symbols and lines to left of camels. Above upper camel is incised rectangular symbol, internally divided by diagonal lines, with a small dot in each segment. Multiple pecked and incised Libyan inscriptions running in different directions on all fragments. Figure 6.23b Mattingly et al (2003, 2007: 166)
