Scope

Large, prominent, isolated split boulder at base of escarpment. Spilt occurred after image made, and inner surfaces of split have Mn rich patina. Carvings on vertical surface..

Arrangement

Rhinoceros, cow, quadruped, cupmarks, graffiti: Pecked outline of rhinoceros facing right possibly in motion. Long snout with long frontal horn and smaller second horn, ear, eye and jaw depicted. Body truncated in middle by splitting of boulder. Rear of animal now on adjacent boulder fragment, and indistinct. Two small cupmarks in front of snout, one artificially created or enhanced, one possibly natural, possibly forming part of the image. Chalked Arabic graffiti below image. Bottom left of panel is pecked cow with upward curving horns. Mattingly et al (2003, 2007: 160). Note that the photograph given as TWE024 in Mattingly et al (2007: 158, Figure 13.25) shows TWE033A
