Scope

Arrangement

Two humans, antelope, oryx, feline, three bovids, seven quadrupeds, ostrich, bird, indeterminate, abstract, cupmarks, pecking: On upper right of panel is pecked human figure facing forwards with crescent on head, long phallus, outstretched and raised arms, short horizontal lines protruding from left arm, crescent-shaped (boomerang) object in left hand (illustrated). To the left of this figure, in the centre of the panel, is pecked outline of large ostrich facing left with long legs. To the left of this image are pecked outlines of an antelope and oryx facing right with backward curving horns, a human figure facing forward with outstretched arms and legs, three bovids, one facing right with short upward pointing horns and a circular end to its tail, two facing left, one with upward curving horns and pecking on its hide, and seven quadrupeds or ambiguous animals (three facing right, three facing left, one with no discernible head or rear). On the bottom left of the panel is the pecked outline of a feline facing left. At the top of the panel the pecked outline of a bird with a long neck facing left. Five deep pecked cupmarks and several more recent pecked circular hollows. Several pecked abstract shapes, some superimposed over animal images. Pecking on surface. Figure 9.22a-c
