Scope

Roughly square slab at base of long promontory terminus, at end of line of foggara, possibly header stone. First line of shafts heading in NW direction lies a few metres from this rock. Quarry marks along edge indicate removal from larger rock surface and possible shaping of slab (pick marks?). Carvings on upper surface.

Arrangement

Polishing, pecking, quarry marks, inscriptions: Polished areas at one side of panel has been truncated by subsequent quarrying and superimposed by pecked Libyan inscriptions. Libyan inscriptions not truncated and probably added after quarrying of slab. Pecking around edges of quarry marks.
