Scope

Fragmented bedrock outcropping as upper edge of lower cliff at end of small promontory on E side of mouth of watercourse. Several carved panels on same bedrock outcrop along this edge. LGR188A carvings on upper surface. Diagonal crack across panel. Surface badly eroded and exfoliated giving it a distinctive texture. Not clear to what extent this texture existed when carvings were made, but subsequent erosion has modified the surface extensively. Other surfaces on same outcrop also pecked and modified, although no figurative carvings.

Arrangement

Cow, oryx, antelope, quadruped, four possible or partial animals, cupmarks, grooves, polishing, pecking: Upper section of panel to north of crack comprises incised outline of a quadruped facing right with backward curving horns, possibly an antelope, and incised outlines of four partial or unidentifiable animals. Series of long parallel incised grooves on northern-most edge of panel and single wide U-shaped groove on raised part of panel. Lower section of panel to south of crack comprises incised outlines of two quadrupeds facing right, one with backward pointing horns, probably an oryx, the other with upward pointing horns formed by hind legs of oryx and pecking on hide. To the left of these animals is the pecked outline of a quadruped facing right with forward curving horns, possibly a cow. Incised animals carved on polished or prepared surface. Several grooves including one very deep cleft on raised part of rock (vulva like). Numerous pecked cupmarks and extensive surface pecking over entire panel.
