Scope

Arrangement

Five humans, two giraffes, two elephants, ostrich, indeterminate, pecking: On upper left of panel is incised outline of elephant facing right with trunk and tusk, thick legs, round feet and part of butterfly-shaped ear. Dorsal line and part of head truncated by boulder splitting. Pecking on and around body. Pecked lines forming indeterminate shape below hind feet. Below is pecked outline of quadruped facing right with long horn or trunk, possibly an elephant with some fetures of rhinoceros. To right of large elephant are several pecked and incised figures: Incised outline of giraffe facing left with long neck, small horns, pecking on hide, upright tail. To left of giraffe are pecked outlines of a quadruped facing right with long neck and small horns, possibly a giraffe head, and a possible ostrich facing right with long neck and legs. Around and superimposed over these images are four pecked human figures with raised or outstretched arms and legs, circular heads and phalluses. An incised human figure wwith outstretched arms and circular head touches the trunk of the large elephant. Figure 6.18e
