Scope

Isolated boulder at base of promontory terminus, at edge of large boulder cluster which includes ELH136. Carvings on undulating sloping surface.

Arrangement

Two giraffes, oryx, three quadrupeds, bird, abstract, indeterminate, cupmarks, grooves, pecking: On central lower panel (139A1) is incised quadruped facing right with backward curving horns, possibly an oryx. To the right is pecked outline of giraffe facing left with long neck. To the right are pecked lines forming indeterminate shape. Further right is pecked quadruped facing right with ears or short horns and two legs. Abstract or indeterminate pecked image to the right and below (ELH193A1_2). All three images have light patina. Several incised grooves and surface pecking. Further right is pecked bird facing right (ELH139A1_3) and surface pecking with different patinas. In upper right of panel (ELH139A1_4) are several grooves and incised lines, some forming outline of quadruped facing right with long tail. Head and horns unclear. Pecking on hide and panel surface. Circular area of pecking above animal. Several cupmarks, some recently pecked, some with darker patina. On upper left of panel (ELH139A1_5) are incised outlines of two quadrupeds, one with body and head missing, one with long neck, probably a giraffe. Incised lines forming indeterminate shape.
