Scope

Large split pale orange boulder at base of escarpment promontory terminus. Facing twin summits of El Greifa. Carvings on vertical surface.

Arrangement

Six humans, cow, six quadrupeds, snake, indeterminate: In centre of panel is pecked outline of large cow facing right with lyre-shaped horns, possible saddle mark on back, small feet, pecked line across rump, fringed tail. Above is pecked quadruped facing right with short upward pointing horns and U-shaped belly. Standing on back of cow is pecked human figure facing forward with legs apart, arms bent and raised to head height. Superimposed over rear of cow are two pecked humans kneeling and facing right. Square symbols with pecking at centre, possibly shields, in front of bodies, two incised lines, possibly swords or spears, extending beneath shield of figure on right. Superimposed on forequarters of cow, underlying kneeling humans, is pecked quadruped facing right with short upward pointing horns, and pecked outlines of two further possible quadrupeds facing, one with short upward pointing horns and U-shaped belly. To the right are two pecked quadrupeds facing right, one with short upward pointing horns or ears, and a serperntine pecked line, possibly a snake. Above this are two pecked dancing humans facing forward with circular breasts. One has pubic triangle and pecked lines around head, possibly hair. To rear of cow is pecked image, possibly schematic dancing human with two gouged circles above head. Figure 7.25b
