Scope

Large boulder at base of small escarpment promontory close to small stream. Carvings on upper surface.

Arrangement

Cow, hollows, polishing, pecking: Pecked outline of quadruped facing right with slight cervico-thoracic hump and indistinct horns, possibly a cow. Faint incised lines forming band round belly. Nose terminates in a possible cupmark pecked over a natural fissure. Later repecking of hind quarters, and extensive pecking with different degrees of patina around and to the right of the animal and along natural fissures below and to the right of the animal. Animal is carved over a polished, shallow hollow, of which there are four on the rock surface. Figure 8.22b
