Scope

Arrangement

Giraffe, two cows, bovid, quadruped, graffiti: Pecked outline of giraffe facing right with long neck. Below are pecked outlines of two cows facing left with upward pointing horns and a bovid facing left with short backward curving horns. Above right is pecked outline of quadruped facing right with short upward horns or ears. Large Arabic graffiti painted over several of images in bitumen when recorded in 2007. 902 is the general number assigned to over 60 rock engravings and inscriptions around the Zinchechra escarpment settlement (ZIN001) recorded by von Helmut Ziegert in the 1960s (Zeigert 1969), following Sattin (1965) (see Mattingly et al 2007: 101).
