Scope

'Black and white photograph shows the construction of houses at El Araneb. There is a man on the left foreground of the image, dressed entirely in white. Behind him, another man is carrying a large brick.', In the centre of the image, there is a third man on all-fours on the ground. The photograph features manuscript note on verso "Thousands of mud bricks were made for construction of 25 houses at El Araneb for housing refugees who returned to Libya from Lake Chad. Note completed house in background." The photograph also features a stamp from the Kingdom of Libya, Ministry of Information and Guidance.'
