Scope
'Manuscript notes pertaining to plinths below bases of columns as in Severan Forums at Lepcis Magna, pedestal bases, arches and the Library of Ephesos. File includes a typed letter sent from the Swedish Institute in Rome to Major [John B. Ward Perkins regarding the plinths under the bases of columns at Lepcis Magna (24 July 1944, 1 page). The signature at the end of the letter is difficult to decipher.'
