Scope

'Scrapbook contains 61 black and white photographs from the 1951 expedition to Lepcis Magna and Sabratha. The photograph shows the archaeological sites, general landscape views, mosaic floors, marble statues in a museum setting, the people involved in the expeditions along with photographs of local men, women and children. The book includes photographs of Vivienne Catleugh, Kenyon, Marshall and Cecil Western. There is also a printed plan of excavations stuck into the back cover.', Volume features manuscript title on front-cover, "Sabratha and Leptis 1951".'
