Scope

"Series of black and white photographs taken by Daniels during a 1958 expedition to Africa, numbered 1 - 1542. Each of the photographs feature a print number assigned by Daniels and manuscript caption on verso. The Daniels' number corresponds with the entries in the Expedition Notebook, Volume One.", The photographs show multiple sites in Libya and Northern Africa, these include (in alphabetical order): Auenat Vennin, Bu Ngem, Chanafes, Gasr Agerem, Gasr Chanafes, Gasr Fjej, Gasr Laroccu [Gasr La Rocu, Gasr Naggazza, Germa, Gheriat, Ghirza, Gragra, Lepcis Magna, Msufiin, Nesma, Scedua, Sebha, Tininai, Uatuat, Wadi Tabunyia, Wadi Talha, Zemzem, Zinchecra and Zinchecra/Uatuat.'
