Scope

"Black and white photographs of Rowe's finds from the 1952 season of excavations [at Cyrene?; each photographs features manuscript serial number (between 102 and 168) and notes on verso. Many of the photographs also features a stamp on verso from the Society for Libyan Studies Archive, presumably from when the photographs first came into the possession of the Society.", Photographs show a wide variety of finds, including pottery, jugs, fragments and figures, in a musem or store setting. The negatives for the images are also present and are accompanied by manuscript note "Film taken by John Cassels. Found in Manchester cache, represents 1952 season of excavation".'
