Scope

'Subsubseries of photographic prints from the Cyrenaican Manchester University Archaeological Expedition of 1952.', The photographs were contained within small envelopes featuring a number, indicating the negative reel number. The envelopes were numbered 1 - 19, however, an empty envelope was labelled "Reel 14 is Missing". Each photograph features a manuscript number on verso indicating the film number and the image number. A number of the photographs also feature additional notes or captions on verso.'
