Scope
'Black and white 4 x 6" photographs, taken during the Manchester University Archaeological Expedition to Cyrene in 1952. Sites featured within the file of photographs include: The Forum of Proculus and the Basilica. Contains photographs which appear in Buttle\'s thesis, such as plates: 44, 52, 54 & 61', u"Photographs had been numbered individually on verso, prior to cataloguing. These numbers do not correspondend with the final plates published in Buttle's thesis.", Embossed with the Society for Libyan Studies stamp on the reverse of each individual photograph, however additional information has been not recorded.', u"Originally packaged in a photographic envelope, entitled 'Spool 11'"
