Scope
'The majority of these notes were in a file labelled as per the title; however, I have added to them notes simply headed "Inscriptions in the Libyan Alphabet from Tripolitania" and also notes headed "Inscriptions from the Tripolitanian Hinterland". It is certain that some of the notes were re-used in an appendix entitled "Inscriptions and Graffiti in the Libyan Alphabet from Ghirza and Elsewhere in Tripolitania" contained in the Brogan/Smith book "Ghirza: A Libyan Settlement in the Roman Period", and written by Brogan. It should also be noted that Brogan, Smith and Joyce Reynolds co-authored an article entitled "Inscriptions form the Libyan Alphabet from Ghirza in Tripolitania", published in "Antiquity" Volume 32 Issue 126, June 1958, pp. 112-115'
