Scope

Vertical rock face forming a cirque in steep gully on promontory terminus. Carvings on large vertical panel at edge of opening in rock face, possibly originally a spring. Some erosion from water flow.

Arrangement

Human, five camels, goat, bovid, three quadrupeds, sandals, abstract, indeterminate, inscriptions: Two incised quadrupeds facing right in top left of panel, one with short horns or ears. To the right are three indeterminate incised shapes and partly exfoliated image on fragmented edge. Further right on edge of cleft is incised outline of camel facing right with triangular hump, diagonal line from chest to hind legs, two incised lines above. To right of cleft is incised outline of camel facing right with rounded hump, and incised lines. Further right is incised human with indistinct arms, incised outlines of three camels in a row facing right with humps, and two abstract rectilinear images. Below is incised outline of bovid facing left and possible incised Libyan inscription. Further left is quadruped facing left with short upright horns and lines beneath neck (goat?). To left is indeterminate image eroded by water flow, and incised outline of quadruped facing left with upright tail. In front and behind this animal are several incised abstract images and two incised sandal outlines with gouged holes at toe end. Several incised Libyan inscriptions further to right. Figure 9.34b
